NEW ANNUAL APPLICATION FOR FIRST FRIDAYS
A new annual application for First Fridays vendors is now available. The annual appication allows for a discounted rate and one free month for vendors that sign-up for First Fridays during the month of January. A working committee of twenty participating First Fridays vendors has made recommended changes for the 2009 calendar year. To read more and to download the 2009 application, click here.

RIDE THE RAIL TO ROOSEVELT ROW
For the first time in history you can ride Light Rail to First Friday on January 2, 2009. Disembark at the Arts District station and walk east or west along Roosevelt Street. Walk from the station to great district businesses including Portland's, Fair Trade, CIBO, Palatte, the Japanese Friendship Garden and more. Note: train service ends at 11PM each night.

NEW ADDITIONS TO DOWNTOWN

Last weekend's Phoenix Rising festivities were a great success. The Roosevelt Row community was out in full force for the celebration at the Arts District light rail stop and at the grand opening of the latest expansion of the Convention Center. A huge thanks to all the new and old faces that came out to make downtown vibrant all weekend long!
