Green Streets Fall Festival, Friday, November 13, 2009, 6PM-10PM
The Green Streets Fall Festival celebrates sustainability, our local economy and green initiatives in the City of Phoenix. This free and public signature downtown festival features great live music and entertainment, performance, demonstrations, vendors offering original arts, crafts and locally grown produce, favorite local chefs, and a beer garden hosted by Four Peaks Brewing Company.

The event takes place along Fifth Street south of Roosevelt in the downtown Phoenix Arts District on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 6PM to 10PM. Fifth Street features a collection of historic Craftsman bungalows that have been preserved and converted to new uses including restaurants, live/work and gallery spaces and artist studios. The event might even include some of Roosevelt Row's signature pumpkin bowling!

Day for Downtown, Saturday, November 14, 2009, 8AM-Noon
Join residents, neighbors, friends and volunteers to plant trees in the Roosevelt Row neighborhoods. Trees are creating a more connected and shaded pedestrian oasis block-by-block and helping to reduce our carbon emissions. Day for Downtown, organized by HandsOn Greater Phoenix, concludes with a celebration luncheon for volunteers.

Shop and Share, Second Saturday, December 12, 2009, all day
Select businesses on the Row will donate 10% of their day's sales to Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC). This partnership between Roosevelt Row Community Development Corporation and SARRC is a commitment to the success and prosperity of the downtown area. The Downtown Phoenix Public Market will also be open from 8 am-1 pm making the Roosevelt Row area a hotspot destination for shopping locally. Shop and Share coincides with the Row's newest monthly event, the Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale. During the Sidewalk Sale, people are encouraged to enjoy the dynamic, walkable arts district downtown and support their local businesses in order to boost Arizona's economy and pride. Grab your wallets and join us on December 12th to Shop and Share.
